Wrap Around Care

At Bakewell CofE Infants we aim to provide wrap around care that is both flexible and affordable for parents, and meets the need of our children.

We run an in-house Breakfast Club, 7:30 – 8:45am, and an Afterschool Club, 3:15 – 5:30 each week day.  This is available to both Bakewell Infants and Bakewell Methodist Junior School pupils, and is led by Mrs Dring and supported by other members of school staff.

All members of staff are DBS checked, experienced in working with children, and have undertaken safeguarding children training.

We liaise closely with the Bakewell Methodist Junior School.  Junior children are walked up to the Junior School by a member of staff each morning, and collected and walked down for afterschool provision at the end of their school day.

In an emergency, if you need to book on the day, please ring the school office on 01629 812322 before 2pm if possible.

For safeguarding purposes, we cannot accept any child that is not booked onto a session without prior notice. Equally, if your child is not able to attend a club you have booked, you must contact the school so that your child’s name is removed from our register in adherence with Safeguarding policies.
