At Bakewell C of E Infant School, Religious Education is an important element in the broad and balanced curriculum which we provide.

Through our RE curriculum we provide opportunities to develop children's knowledge and understanding of world religions. We also reflect on the challenging questions that arise as we explore the faiths and beliefs of others. Our curriculum aims to develop knowledge and understanding of positive attitudes towards, and sympathy with, people and their beliefs.

We use a combination of high-quality curriculum resources, including Understanding Christianity and the Derbyshire Agreed Syllabus.
